With over 14 years of experience working in various social work roles with his Master’s in Social Work (MSW), and at seven different sites within Fraser Health, Kevin reflects on some of the things his leadership and peers have been consistent with in supporting his well-being.
“My team often participates in group team-building activities outside of work, like running races and axe throwing, and we get together monthly for social gatherings. Using my vacation time and having flexible work options has been essential to maintaining my work/life balance. I enjoy snowboarding in the winter and traveling in the summer, and I am fortunate to live directly across the street from a group-fitness studio, allowing me to go to as many classes as possible on my days off.”
