I work as an overdose outreach worker in the Toxic Drug Response and Priority Populations program. Our team strives to provide our clients a better life by connecting them to resources they need to help them move forward.
A big part of what I love most about my job are my coworkers. I have learned a lot working in a team-based environment, I have also been able to grow in my career by taking on new and challenging opportunities.
My advice for someone considering a similar position or employment with Fraser Health is to be flexible, open to learning and to be the change you wish to see in the world.
The best part about living and working in within our health region, is being involved with sports in my community of Delta and riding ATVs. Fraser Health encourages self-care and gives me the tools I need to support my well-being.
