What I love most working as a unit clerk at Arbutus Place, Older Adult Rehabilitation Program at Peace Arch Hospital is that I love knowing that I have made a positive impact in people’s lives, no matter how big or small.
There are always smiles and laughs being exchanged within my team. We know that we can depend on each other, and with that trust comes the ability to be comfortable sharing laughter and fun.
Throughout my career at Fraser Health, I’ve gained confidence in myself personally by building and expanding my interpersonal skills and self awareness while at work.
While I do love my job, I also love my time away from work. Having adequate vacation time absolutely contributes to my overall wellbeing.
I love being outside and surrounding myself with nature. I am never far away from a forest, and the mountains are almost always in view. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
I try to get out for a walk every day. Spending time walking outside, whether it’s on a beautiful BC trail or just around the neighbourhood, always improves my mood.
