Meet Tracy!
Tracy has worked at Burnaby Hospital as a pharmacist for nearly two years and supports the inpatient psychiatry unit and the emergency department. Her day-to-day work focuses on optimizing psychiatric medication therapy and ensuring medication safety which is vital in this specialized area.
“I love the dynamic nature of my role—time flies when I’m immersed in patient care, collaborating with the health care team and precepting learners. I often wish there were more hours in the day to spend with my patients and continue advancing my practice.
For anyone considering employment with Fraser Health, my advice is to embrace the opportunities for growth and collaboration that the organization offers. Fraser Health provides a supportive and inclusive environment where you can truly thrive, both personally and professionally.
I also deeply appreciate the exceptional leadership we have within our department, they continuously support us, champions our success, and foster an environment where we can thrive.”
Outside of work, Tracy enjoys tapping into her artistic side and playing the cello, which allows her to unwind and express her creativity. She also brings out her competitive spirit through online games and her passion for collecting Pokémon cards, a love since childhood that she continues to enjoy as a fun and nostalgic hobby.
