Employed Student Nurses (ESN / ESPN)
Fraser Health supports undergraduate nursing students enrolled in an approved BC Nursing Program with an employment opportunity to gain paid practical job experience before graduation.
New Graduate Nurses
We’re here to support you as you begin your new career as a registered nurse (RN) / registered psychiatric nurse (RPN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) with the New Graduate Program.
Specialty Nursing Education (SNE)
Fraser Health offers Specialty Nursing Education (SNE) Sponsorship to selected applicants as part of our ongoing shared responsibility for professional development and safe, competent ethical care.
We pay 100% of your tuition and your wages.

New Graduate Practice Transition Program
The vision of the New Graduate component of the Practice Transition Program is to build knowledge, confidence, and competence as students transition into full practice.
This strong foundation is a warm welcome that supports you in establishing your new career.
This program is available to many health science areas including dietitians, occupational therapists, social workers and respiratory therapists to name a few.

Staffing Services
Are you wanting to pursue a career in Staff Scheduling at Fraser Health? We offer a comprehensive training program coupled with a practicum that enable individuals to successfully move into staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping services roles.
You must have a strong customer service orientation, superior organization, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a highly computerized environment utilizing Windows and other related software.
MySchedule Pro (replacing Kronos ESP)
Our application process for the Intro to MySchedule Pro training is currently paused as we align with the rollout of our new scheduling software. This section will be updated once we reopen applications.
These training courses are open to both Fraser Health employees and external candidates with prior scheduling experience or an interest in staff scheduling, provided they meet the required prerequisites.
About the training
Our MySchedule Pro courses introduce the specialized scheduling software used across Fraser Health. Learners gain foundational skills in staffing, scheduling and timekeeping within applicable collective agreements, policies and procedures.

- Completion of these courses does not guarantee employment with Fraser Health.
- Priority is given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
- Employer support for BC PNP applications is not guaranteed.
Introduction to MySchedule Pro
You are eligible to apply to the Introduction to MySchedule Pro Training Program if you meet the following criteria:
- Two week training commitment, including 100% attendance for in-person training sessions and all practicum shifts
- Grade 12 completion or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience within the last six (6) years, including: customer service, staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping
- Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm
- Ability to operate MS Outlook and Word at an intermediate level and MS Excel at a beginner level
- Two (2) employer references including:
- One current manager and/or
- One previous manager within the last five (5) years and/or
- One instructor/preceptor within the last year
Registration process
Applications for the Introduction to MySchedule Pro Training Program are reviewed via the following process:
- Pre-screening application review
- Fraser Health Recruitment Services administered testing
- Fraser Health Staffing Services administered registration interview
- Two (2) employer reference checks

Course fees
Please note that there is a non-refundable $500 course registration fee associated with this class. This course fee is payable at the time of confirmed registration into a training program cohort.
Course evaluations
Please note that the minimum passing grade for Introduction to My Schedule Pro is 70%.
- You must successfully achieve a grade of 70% or higher on each assessment to continue with the training program.
- Successful completion of the Introduction to MySchedule Pro Training Program is the qualification requirement for the Fraser Health Staffing Clerk position.

Advanced MySchedule Pro
You are eligible to apply to the Advanced MySchedule Pro Training Program if you meet the following criteria:
- Prerequisite criteria: successful completion of Introduction to MySchedule Pro with a grade of 80% or higher
- Four week training commitment, including 100% attendance for in-person training sessions and all practicum shifts
- Applications can be submitted directly to StaffingEducation@fraserhealth.ca
Course Fees
There is NO course fee associated with this class.
Course Evaluations
- There are two assessments held throughout the course (one on Theory, and the other on Practicum). Both assessments are to evaluate your understanding of our staffing processes and their practical applications.
- Successful completion of the Advanced MySchedule Pro Training Program is the qualification requirement for the Fraser Health Program Clerk position.
