I work at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) as a registered nurse (RN) in the emergency department (ED). I love the autonomy and the fast-paced environment – every shift is different and exciting. As an emergency nurse, the scope of work involves knowledge that spans across multiple specialties that enables us to provide patient-centred care.
I can’t begin to express how grateful I am work with everyone in the emergency department at RCH. The teamwork here is truly amazing – it’s where I have met some of my most treasured friends. Everyone in the department and across all professions work together to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.
If you are open to life-long learning, stimulated by a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the emergency department would be ideal for you.
