Nurses

Fraser Health offers education and training designed to support you throughout your nursing journey.

Whether you’re just getting started as a student, an experienced nurse looking to advance your practice or trained outside of Canada, select an option below to learn more.

Employed Student Nurses (ESN / ESPN)

Fraser Health supports undergraduate nursing students enrolled in an approved BC Nursing Program with an employment opportunity to gain paid practical job experience before graduation.

New Graduate Practice Transition Program

The vision of the New Graduate component of the Practice Transition Program is to build knowledge, confidence, and competence as students transition into full practice. 

This strong foundation is a warm welcome that supports you in establishing your new career.

This program is available to many health science areas including dietitians, occupational therapists, social workers and respiratory therapists to name a few.

Staffing Services

Are you wanting to pursue a career in Staff Scheduling at Fraser Health? We offer a comprehensive training program coupled with a practicum that enable individuals to successfully move into staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping services roles.

You must have a strong customer service orientation, superior organization, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a highly computerized environment utilizing Windows and other related software.

MySchedule Pro (replacing Kronos ESP)

Our application process for the Intro to MySchedule Pro training is currently paused as we align with the rollout of our new scheduling software. This section will be updated once we reopen applications.

These training courses are open to both Fraser Health employees and external candidates with prior scheduling experience or an interest in staff scheduling, provided they meet the required prerequisites.

About the training
Our MySchedule Pro courses introduce the specialized scheduling software used across Fraser Health. Learners gain foundational skills in staffing, scheduling and timekeeping within applicable collective agreements, policies and procedures.
