Lower Mainland Consolidation (LMC)
A collaborative initiative designed to enhance operational efficiency across several health organizations by streamlining select clinical support and non-clinical services.
Launched in August 2009, this partnership brings together Fraser Health, Providence Health Care, the Provincial Health Services Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health and the Ministry of Health. Through LMC, we’ve achieved meaningful improvements in service quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness. These efficiencies allow us to reinvest more resources into direct patient care and help ensure the long-term sustainability of our publicly funded health system.
As part of the Lower Mainland Consolidation model, each health authority takes the lead in recruiting for specific consolidated services across the region.
