“Working with the team and seeing our patients get better and go back to doing what they love is what I love most about being a physiotherapist (PT),” shares Dan, PT at Delta Hospital.
“After doing some career aptitude testing and hearing from those working in the [physiotherapy] profession, I set out to find more about what post-secondary options were available to become a physiotherapist.
My expectation when completing the program at Queen’s University, was that I would work with athletes. But after my student placements in public and private settings, I [have] found my true calling in acute care. It’s a rewarding career, and very much worth it.”
