The Infection Prevention and Control team has been exceptionally busy navigating the pandemic. We were able to catch a few minutes with Kevin, an Infection and Prevention Control Specialist, to talk about what a career in this field is like.
Kevin plays an active part in supporting and providing guidance to Fraser Health teams and health care sites in community infection prevention and control best practices.
When we asked what he’s most proud of, he shared “the opportunity to work in a team environment, particularly with those who have a variety of health knowledge and areas of expertise, all while contributing to improving the health and lives of those in the communities we live in and serve.”
“It truly is a collaborative health approach,” he adds.
When Kevin isn’t working on his career, he loves writing music, coaching hockey and ball hockey, working on his acreage, and travelling (during non-pandemic times, of course).
We have an immediate need for Infection Prevention and Control Specialists to join our team. Interested in working with a diverse and collaborative team?
