It’s been five years since we last met with Janice, perioperative nurse at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center (ARHCC). We recently caught up with her to see how she’s doing.
“I am still here at ARHCC enjoying and loving every minute in the operating room (OR) as a perioperative registered nurse (RN). I have been a perioperative (OR) nurse for 13 years here at ARHCC, and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!
Many things have evolved in the OR – we are continually seeing surgery change as science, technology, and as medicine advances. This is what makes being in the operating room so incredible! It’s exhilarating to learn new things every day.
The operating room in Abbotsford is one of a kind. We serve patients from such a wide range geographically, and demographically. It’s so great to have amazing teammates who work well together to deliver the best possible patient care.”
