“I love working in critical care because every day is different and the patient population is always so diverse. One day I may take care of a postoperative patient and the next day my patient could be a postpartum mother” shares Julie, a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and High Acuity Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
“I learn something new every shift from the patients and the amazing interdisciplinary team. Working in critical care, I have the opportunity to truly impact someone’s life. It can be challenging, but very rewarding.”
