We currently have an exciting Relief Full Time opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic as a dedicated Respiratory Therapist at Burnaby Hospital in Burnaby, BC. If you're someone who is looking for a challenge that is equally as rewarding, then this might be the opportunity for you.


Build on your education & career experience as you:

  • Maintain documentation on treatments given to patient, equipment parameter settings/values and patient/equipment observations
  • Perform respiratory care to patients in accordance with established standards and procedures and/or as prescribed by physician
  • Perform diagnostic testing, initiates oxygen therapy, and assists with home oxygen therapy
  • Perform cardio-respiratory physiological measurements and calculations, invasive and non-invasive, as required
  • Assist with in service education sessions on respiratory care and related respiratory equipment to nursing, medical, and other hospital personnel as required
  • Perform equipment quality control, maintenance, and minor repairs and maintains documented records

To join our team, you have:

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and British Columbia Society of
  • Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT)
  • Current CPR Certificate, Professional Level C
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation program certification
