We are seeking an Executive Director, HR Consulting Services & Workforce Optimization with the responsibility of leading portfolios which are accountable in providing informed and responsive consulting services. You will also be supporting operational partners with the management of people and as well as strategic staffing initiatives to improve Fraser Health's growing culture.  

As a key member of the Employee Experience leadership team, the Executive Director reporting to the Vice President, Employee Experience will ensure alignment of HR Services within FH's strategic and operational plans. You will partner with senior clinical leaders to optimize the utilization of our health human resources and work schedules in clinical operations.

You will create and maintain effective relationships within the organization, unions, Health Employers Association of BC, Ministry of Health and other internal/external partners. This pivotal role will provide senior level oversight in the review of grievances and disputes to ensure consistency of approach while assessing the impact of short and long term operational strategies. Also, you will oversee and provide guidance to complex organizational labour relations events such as essential service plans and strike management.

  • a master’s degree in business, industrial relations, human resources management or related field
  • fifteen years' relevant, recent experience in the leadership of a similar function, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
