We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Clinician, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) to work in our Mental Health and Substance Use Office located at New Westminster, British Columbia. As a Clinician, you will utilize advanced clinical knowledge to contribute to the efficiency of service delivery and advancement of practice and interventions on the ACT team.

Build on your education & career experience as you:

  • Provide advanced clinical practice and interventions in the community setting as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Screen and respond to referrals through the intake process to make sure clients meet service mandate
  • Coordinate client treatment by ensuring that clients have a service plan that maximizes rehabilitation and utilizes relevant community support
  • Promote and facilitate client independence, by modeling, counseling and teaching life skills within a bio-psycho-social rehabilitation model
  • Document observations, interventions and service outcomes in client records

To join this team, you have:

  • Master’s Degree in a health related discipline
  • Three (3) years' experience in a recognized psychiatric and/or community mental health setting
  • Valid BC license and access to vehicle
