Build on your career experience as you support the coordination and development of FHA’s IM/IT Service Management systems, processes and maturity.

  • Work closely with our customers to understand their business model and needs and translate them into requirements documentation.
  • Provide analyst support for all phases of project development and implementation, including hands-on application support.
  • Utilize your demonstrated knowledge of information management, business process design, technologies and applications, project management experience and superior skill in data research and business/systems analysis.
  • Act as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.

In this position you will:

  • Administer and support the continued development of FHA’s IT Service Management System and processes
  • Coordinate and expand the use of FHA’s IT Service Management System technologies to design and implement tool-based workflows, data transfers, interfaces and templates
  • Make significant contributions to multiple simultaneous information systems projects to support the informational, systems, and technology goals of Fraser Health
  • Facilitate and communicate with stakeholders to develop business process models and map to systems specifications
  • Work with customers to apply and grow your business analysis expertise in requirements planning, elicitation techniques, and enterprise analysis
  • Update and perform knowledge transfer to colleagues (e.g. via formal and informal communications and presentations) of processes and technologies pertaining to your role
  • Compose and strengthen formal documentation to track requirements, specifications and project management plans
  • Participate in change and transformation activities that impact people, process and technology

As the successful candidate, you have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Science or Computer Science and two to four years’ experience with business and systems analysis

Your demonstrable experience programming in SQL and scripting languages (JavaScript, Visual Basic), and experience with IT Service Management and Collaboration tools and processes (especially HP Service Manager, HP Connect It and SharePoint) are assets to this role, as is your familiarity with (and ideally certification in) ITIL Foundations.
