Position Highlights

Bring your exceptional leadership, initiative, and innovation in problem solving as Manager, Planning and Projects, focusing on the Vancouver Coastal Health/Richmond Portfolio. You will lead the implementation of approved facilities capital projects including project management, budget control, contract negotiation, dispute resolution and oversight of projects from design through to construction and commissioning. You will also represent the Organizations interests through your work with internal and external parties and community groups, as well as supervise others in ensuring accountability and performance of various capital project initiatives.

As the ideal candidate, you hold the following qualifications: bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering or Construction and Project Management, a professional designation, and seven to ten years' recent, related experience in large and progressively more complex healthcare projects, and key project leadership roles in a large multi-site organization managing the design and construction of facilities projects.

The position will need to be in Richmond four days per week.  Candidates should have experience in the project management of design/engineering and construction projects, leading a team, mentoring and training.
