Fraser Health’s Urgent and Primary Care Centres (UPCCs) are medical facilities that provide ongoing medical care and/or timely care for urgent, non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses that should be seen by a health care provider within 12 to 24 hours but do not require the level of service or expertise found in an emergency department. Â
They are part of the primary and community care system with a focus on a unified approach to team-based care to wrap services around our patients.Â

UPCC work provides a well-balanced blend of family medicine and/or urgent care opportunities.
We practice team-based care by working collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, medical office assistants, counsellors, and social workers to provide wrap-around care for our patients and communities. We also prioritize the delivery of equitable, culturally safe, and person-centred quality care.
