Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre is a large, modern facility serving the city of Abbotsford and surrounding Fraser Valley communities including Mission, Chilliwack, and Hope. Operated in partnership with BC Cancer, it was the first hospital in Western Canada to integrate a cancer centre into its design from the ground up.

The hospital also supports clinical education and training, contributing to the development of future health care professionals.

Medical services

Comprehensive care close to home

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre provides 24/7 emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, and ambulatory care, supported by a wide range of community health programs.

Referral services include specialties such as internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery and mental health and substance use care.

The hospital also offers a comprehensive maternal, infant, child and youth program, including advanced obstetrical care, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric inpatient services.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre provides care on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Stó:lō [staw-low] people, particularly the Semá:th (Sumas) [sue-mass] and Matsqui [mats-sqwee] First Nations, and is home of the Fraser Valley Métis Association.
