We currently have an opportunity for an Infection Prevention & Control Practitioner in our Infection Prevention & Control Program located at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, British Columbia. This position may also be expected to work at the following facilities:

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre
Burnaby Hospital
Chilliwack General Hospital
Delta Hospital
Eagle Ridge Hospital
Fraser Canyon Hospital
Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre
Langley Memorial Hospital
Mission Memorial Hospital
Peace Arch Hospital
Ridge Meadows Hospital
Surrey Memorial Hospital

To be the successful candidate, you will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related health science discipline
• Current registration with related governing professional association
• Completion of an approved Infection Control or Medical Microbiology program
• Two years recent related experience in a laboratory environment, including microbiology, plus one years experience working in a computerized Infection Control environment
• Current valid Class V BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle |

FTE:   1.0
Rate:   $30.34/hr to $37.84/hr
Hours of Work:   Various 0700-1500, 0800-1600, 0900-1700, 1500-2300, or others as required; on call, weekend or stats may be required.
