Sterile Processing Technician
You’ll get all of the supplies, instruments, and equipment organized and ready for use in the operating room, and other departments in the hospital. You’ll use a variety of cleaning machines and special cleaning solutions, and perform tests to ensure that equipment is working properly.
Cleaning up after surgeries is also part of the job, so you’ll need to be comfortable with that kind of a mess.
Education / Training / Experience
- Grade 12
- Successful completion of a recognized Sterile Supply Processing program (3 months full time)
