Environmental Health Officer
You’ll inspect places like restaurants, spas, swimming pools, and hot tubs and investigate issues such as bad drinking water, to ensure that the public is not at risk of becoming ill.
Education / Training / Experience
- Bachelors Degree of Technology in Environmental Health (2 years full time)
- Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) granted by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors
- Registration with the BC Branch of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors
- Pesticide Applicator's certificate
