More than 2,500 physicians work with Fraser Health, and we provide comprehensive health care services through a variety of care settings from 12 acute care hospitals to community clinics to tertiary teaching centres in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, in beautiful British Columbia.

Our acute care facilities include tertiary care, heart health and cardiac surgery, specialized neurosciences, trauma, family birthing, psychiatry, facility, and community renal dialysis.

Fraser Health is building capacity to address unprecedented population growth.  For example, Surrey Memorial Hospital has a brand new state-of-the-art Emergency Department and effective October 2013 will be adding a new dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department as part of the new Critical Care Tower. This will increase Surrey to 650 beds by 2014, providing a dedicated Perinatal Centre, helipad and expanded ICU.
